I enjoyed three nights here during the winter- this is a wonderful hut in a beautiful location. Italian is spoken here. The "drying rack" room is huge and well-lit, with plenty of hooks, racks, and seats where you can put your gear on. The bunk rooms are larger than in the Marteller Hutte - I only shared with two other people. The bar / afternoon hang-out rooms are warm and comfortable, thanks to a huge stone stove, which radiated heat. A separate dining room opens for dinner and breakfast only. Dinner, although never on time, was traditional, tasty and filling - we were served huge portions of salads, meats, and pastas. And the desserts were delicious, especially the walnut torte (nutty and not too sweet) which made an excellent ski snack to supplement my bagged lunch.
